An Inspiring Event for American Indian Students!

For 46 years, Humboldt State University has hosted American Indian College Motivation Day (AICMD). This event, which is held on the first Thursday in November, focuses on preparing high school students for what to look for and expect in college, creating a sense of belonging and cultural relevancy, and connecting students to their support team at HSU. AICMD is organized in partnership by the Council of American Indian Faculty and Staff, American Indian student leaders on campus and the Office of Admissions.

Highlights

This year, American Indian College Motivation Day will be offered virtually from 10am to 12pm on Thursday, November 5th. Students will have the opporunity to experience virtual tours, presentations and a college fair. Please see event schedule below.

10:15am - Student Panel 

10:45am - Keynote Speaker: Tonia Jo Hall

11:15am - College Fair/Instant Admits

11:45am - Closing
